Re: New exhaust
If you don't mind me asking how much are they charging you for all that?
Re: New exhaust
I had a manifold flap delete when I had a carbon clean.

Re: New exhaust
What sort of costs are stage 1 & stage 2.. are there any discounts over the prices on there website?
Re: New exhaust
You should get 10% or more discount on a stage 2 if you buy a milltek exhaust.
Re: New exhaust
Definitely get the crank case breather changed. I had the same work carried out on mine, and it ran really bad as soon as I got it back. Took a while to find out what it was... it is recommended to change it if the manifold is disturbed as they can get a hairline crack as the plastic is brittle.

Re: New exhaust
IMO the cold air feed is massively overpriced, and you can do it yourself and a much nicer job too. Mine was butchered in with what looked to be a bread knife and a poor fitting bolt, and a but of pipe that looked like it had been cut with a hacksaw. You can purchase a nice piece of pipe with a flanged end attachment for about £10 off eBay and looks and fits a whole lot better.

Re: New exhaust
Thats great advice thank you, i will look in to that. i asked about a cold air feed and they said that it can cause MAF issues ? Many thanks
Re: New exhaust
When you finally got yours sorted were you happy with the performance and sound ?
Re: New exhaust
Yeah, it goes really well. I still think that the difference from sport throttle control to normal is too extreme, but the map is good in sport mode. I have just puechased the reaonated centre boxes for my milltek though which are being fitted tomorrow, as the drone is killing me

Re: New exhaust
Thats interesting . at what speed does it really sound bad ?
Re: New exhaust
Normally between 1500 and 2300 rpm, which is right at cruising speed in lower speed areas, so i often find myself shifting a gear when not really necessary.

Re: New exhaust
I can let you know the difference tomorrow once the centre sections have been fitted..
