I thought I would give you a little update, I got rid of the beloved RS in December last year, a number of reasons but the main one was I was just driving 4 miles to the M25 then doing 70 miles and getting off again. Even getting 26mpg it was still getting on my nerves filling up every other day. So I have gone to the dark side and got a 2012 BMW 535d. It is actually very rapid but a totally different animal.
I am very happy with it, but if work goes well I hope to be in an M5 or RS4 B8 this time next year, I will keep you posted.
And if you see a bloke in a 12 plate black 535 staring at you a bit too much on the M25, dont worry its just me remembering the good old days.

They are rapid 535d or 335d. If it got on your nerves filling the rs4 up every other day with an m5 it will be everyday with that 10 banger under the hood lol
