Boot Seal.

Hi all. i have noticed a bit of water building up on the inside of my boot seal when i open the boot on my B7 Saloon... so i am thinking of buying a new one. Has anyone else had this happen ?

I had water on the inside of my boot lid. Turned out to be the light seals. Replaced them and not had a problem since.

Thanks for the info. I'll take a look. I'm guessing it is the ones in the boot lid...

Same here, light seal was perished so bought a new light, sorted.

I have an avant and got Audi to replace the boot seal. It didn't help. They then tried some flexible mastic on a roll to improve the seal. That improved matters but wasn't perfect. I ended up messing about with the seal myself in the area where the water was getting in. I found lifting it up off the metal lip a little has sorted it fully.

Was an issue when they were brand new. Got my ones fixed at Audi.

I replced the boot seal and it has now stopped the water getting in on the bottom left corner
