Post by BenHol » Fri Nov 04, 2016 9:47 am

Im going to treat the RS to a nice set of 20in rims, but I dont want to get caught out buying a set of rims which wont sit right on the B7, im currently running the 19s with 8mm spacers all round and lowerted 20mm, does anyone have experience of the spec below if they will fit a sit like my 19s ?

Rim size/Width 20" x 9"

AUDI PART NUMBER :8TO 601 025

Offset ET29

Thanks in advance

Don't know which wheels they are but your biggest issue is caliper clearance.

I think our wheels are also 9" ET29 in which case they should fit like stock wheels

Yes OEM wheels are 9" wide with offset of ET29 so in terms of inner and outer clearance you are fine but if these wheels are not for an RS then there is a high chance they might not clear the front calipers.

The wheels are apparently from a A5, but I cannot guarantee that as id be buying privately. Would fitting my current 8mm wheel spaces ensure they clear the calipers? or is that not possible with 20s?

Try before you buy, if you can. It's all down to the form factor. Mine are 8T0 601 025 ET29 RS4 Style for a an S7 and I need 4mm spacers.

Bumping an old thread, but I'm having a tough time nailing down the correct part number for this wheel. They all start with 8T0601025 but then I see some ending in L, N, DE or CM and they all appear to be slightly different where the spoke meets the edge of the wheel. Do you happen to know what your wheels end in? Might just be my eyes, but trying to determine if there are any actual differences between all the part numbers. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
