Any advise, EPC light has just come on about 500miles from home in the middle of doing the north coast 500

I believe this relates to intake manifold position sensors.

Yes it is, mine did the same last year. As far as I know it is something for emissions only needed in the USA, MRC offer a new manifold which doesn't even have them on and they just delete the code (I think). So it is nothing to worry about. I have a proper ROSS cable but the last time it happened I just deleted the fault using a wifi dongle I got from ebay and an app on my phone.Surrey Sam wrote:I believe this relates to intake manifold position sensors.

Got up the next morning after reading up, started the car and after about 30mins the light went out drove a total of another 750 miles completing the north coast 500 then took the old military road from from a939 a93 a 976
With out any trouble.
can recommend both the north coast 500 and the old military road if you like a bit of spirited driving on relatively quite roads.
