Just a final post to say goodbye to to all.
I've sold my RS4 now because it didn't 'float my boat', bought a late Carrera S, much more fun!
Best wishes to all German car enthusiasts.

See you round the corner as you crab across the T junction.
I had a reverse experience. I had a Porsche Carrera and went RS4 B7.
Everyone to their own and enjoy your new car.

So would an 'ageing bald man' in a boy racer hotted up saloon car be better?

I've bailed out too, also in favour of a Porsche. Cayman S for me. Sold to forum member "transitman".
Loved the RS4, but I just like changing cars.
Would like to say thanks to all the help offered on this forum, particularly to mustdash for showing me round his car. Also to bam bam for making me piss myself laughing on a regular basis.
Enjoy your V8 folks.

Well so let's see how the RS4 B7 stands the test of time against the Porsche Carrera. One goes around corners the other just crabs. Talk about understeer !
Maybe that's why the 911 sales have been declining over the last 10 years and the Cayenne and Macan have saved the Porsche company. Even by their own admission.

i had a 911 turbo before the RS4... it was a nice car, but nowhere near as much fun as the audi. you can push the audi to what you think is the limit, and it will still have a lot more to give. with the porsche i was always on edge
