Driving with sticky intake manifold flaps

Hi all
Just had the Audi assist people out after the EPC light came on. Hoped it would be a cool as that's what it's been every other time but they have diagnosed sticking intake manifold flaps which can't be fixed by the road.
Seems to drive as normal, not lumpy or misfiring but I didn't want to take any risks with it.
Is there any major implications to driving it any distance with his diagnosis?
I probably can't get it in to Audi for a few days and really have somewhere to be later on.
Cheers all!
