Get one of these and download the app 'Torque' from the google play store. Allows you to read the fault codes and also reset them if you want.

Mine is doing it now once in a while. EPC light on when driving aound town after a while. No misfire. Code is for intake manifold flap.
The misfire and EPC could be unrelated. As stated above have the codes checked out. I use this for a quick check:

Mine has thrown an EPC light, had the Audi assist out to it and diagnosed sticking Intake flaps. I'd had this several times before and it had always been duff coil packs.
He suggested it will likely need an intake Manifold replacement which hopefully I can get done under warranty.
Power and drive seems ok, no misfire, maybe slightly lumpy but having given it some beans on the way home the light cleared for a bit then came back on and has cleared again.
Will put it in next week. Anyone know the rough cost for the work?

Or you could go to MRC and get a manifold flap delete and stage 2 for less than a new manifold would cost....
