Can anyone help me with this noise on my RS4? Been doing it for a few weeks now. Coming from front drivers side.

I would say its either a worn or dry CV joint.
Unusual to hear it so loud and in a straight line.... CV joints usually show up worse when on full lock in either direction.

If i were you, i would try and get a look at the boot covering the joint, you may find its split and the lubricant has all washed out.

Not dreadfully expensive to replace, and relatively easy.

From memory, Audi charged me circa £150 to do a CV boot change and re-grease.

I didn't have a clicking noise, as I instead noticed a split in the boot when doing a brake pad change.

Thanks very much for your replies. Had thought it was a cv boot/joint but had something more major in my mind. It does it mainly when turning hard to the left and low speeds.
