Any of you lads wrapped your wing mirrors? How have you got on with the too mounting points off the mirror?

Your going to struggle wrapping them in one go.. Im surprised you're going to cover them as they're one of the marks of an RS.

Hasn't Niils recently wrapped his mirrors? He's on holiday at the minute so might take longer to reply.

You can not wrap rs4 mirrors in one peice. You will end up with many overlaps. How many is down to profecionalism of you wrapper. But not one peice.

It won't cost much to paint them titanium and then paint them silver again if you want to. Just make sure you use the proper Audi paint codes and all will be well. Plus a decent painter of course.

Tried wrapping mine at the weekend and had to admit defeat! As pule says you end up with too many (well more than I wanted) overlaps.
That said I'm no pro wrapper...

I took mine to a professional wrapper and he was unable to wrap them. Its best to paint or plasti dip but I'm not sure how long the plasti dip will last.

Mine came professionally Plasti-Dipped from the PO. No idea how long ago they were done, but they have lasted way better than the Plasti-Dip on the grille and window trim, so guessing it would do OK.

Once you have it painted you can cover the main part with a paint protection film. This will be easy to apply as you won't be trying to go over the 2 mounts, just the main body of the cover.

Mines wrapped, and I am very pleased with them
As mentioned, can't be done with a single piece but even with multi pieces you can hardly see unless you study the mirrors up close
I'm very happy with them, and best part is I can peel off once done
Oh and cheaper to wrap than paint too (well for me atleast as they were wrapped in situ)
