Is anyone else running one of these induction kits..? I cant seem to stop my revs surging up and down on tick over. Is runs fine when cold, but once up to temperature, it keeps revving up and down on tick over. I have tried rotating the air mass meter but makes no difference.

Have you blanked off the vak line from the air box flap if you have removed it?

Hi, yeah, it was all fitted by a reputable company along with a load of other work.

Ok, could be a breather problem, check the black pipes from the rocker covers make sure hasnt poped of or cracked.

The maf is very fragile and easily breaks when fitting these kits. Twice after installing / removing the filter I ended up replacing the maf too.

Thanks Guys. I have given it a good check over, but will double check the breathers... I have just fitted a new maf too...

I checked all the breather hoses today and all seems fine... I undone the oil filler cap whilst running and it cut out... I fired my leaf blower towards the cold air feed that was installed a few weeks ago on the drivers side grill next to the fog light, and the car stalled. When i fired it through the normal cold air feed on the slam panel, all was fine... Beginning to wonder if the cold air feed doesn't agree with the grupe-M intake...

I'm running a cold air feed to my Gruppe M Induction and I don't have any problems with mine. Have you checked the silicon hose just after the MAF sensor is secure? It's slightly larger than the connector and can work itself loose, air would then bypass the MAF sensor causing incorrect reading.

I have the Revolution version but it is pretty much the same and a cold air feed and have no problems. In fact without the cold air feed the car would really suffer from heat soak.

My cold air feed was litteraly touching the air filter cone... I have now scrunched it back to the bottom of the air box to see if that makes any difference...

Sounds like pcv valve problem. There is no real way of looking at them to see if there broken tho

I have just done a bit of a test... I ran the engine, and slowly removed the oil filler cap... There is no excessive suction, and just before the engine starter to bog down, i put it back on... This made the engine start revving up and down for about 30 seconds until it settled... Then when i turned the engine off, there was a slight hissing sound from under the bonnet...

Also, it doesn't do it when the engine is cold... Only once it has warmed up...

It does sounds like the PCV valve has failed, it's located under the RS engine cover.
