Service is due this weekend and just wanted to make sure this is the right jollop as there seems to be a few different versions available.

usually ebay has it cheaper for the 20 litres, however my-tyres are doing this for £74.80 at the moment:

I'm currently 5w/30 but due a service soon and this has got me thinking wether to change now,haha.

I changed to the Fuchs Titan 5w 40 oil at the last service and I am certain it now uses less oil if that is of any help.

My experience is that whatever oil you use the oil consumption is near enough zero for the first 5000 miles after a change, then increases steadily afterwards.

whatever audi put in it but ill be getting the oil for it this time what would yous recommend i was thinking 5w 40

Decreased oil use seem a good enough reason to me if its true enough. Never seems to burn it but uses it. I'm sure I read somewhere Fuchs seems to last longer somehow. Wether it was 5w/30 or 40 I'm not sure.
