Unplugging the lambda sensor help

Hi all

All I'm trying to do is replace the lambda sensor b2 s1. Which is the passenger side precat.
So far I have the down pipe off dangling on the sensors.

I have looked up at where the sensors plug in but these connectors are hard enough to undo when there easliy accessible,
So has anyone got any advice on unplugging the connectors as I can't help but stare up at it and laugh at how they ever thought it was a good idea to place them like they have.

Thanks
Mike

yes they are a bitch to do , audi stupid connectors that require a pic to lever up the clips while at the same time trying to seperate them , not much fun atall , they can be removed from the bracket which gives a little more length but thats not easy either as the connector is realy tight in the bracket , mine are all just bundled off the bracket ( when the milly front pipes were fitted ) with cable tie now to make it easier when a sensor fails

Thanks for the reply.

I've managed to get them unplugged and the downpipe off the car now and it's going back on now. Can't believe how much longer the new one was to be honest, had to loop it back on its self as per the instructions that were supplied with it.
Hopefully it all goes back together smoothly now and I can get a drive of her this year.
