Good stuff! You logged and RS Maf readings yet?

I have the tablet held to the back of the sun visor with a couple of elastic bands when I want to do some tests.
I did play with the hud option and had it om the top of the dash. Managed to stop the screen rotating when going round fast corners or breaking too but not sure on long term need to permanently fit it there.
One other useful thing it does is give gps speed or ecu speed. Youll not that they are normally within 0.1 mph of each other showing that the eve speed is very accurate and its he speedo itself which introduces the errors. Very useful when driving through average speed check areas so you know exactly how fast you are going.

Not logged the RS yet, planning on doing that tonight.

Still hoping I can figure out how to get the borescope into the intake to take a look - any ideas how best to do this guys?

Also, if anyone in the area wants to come down to dyno their car, or just to come watch, you're still welcome.

4 runs, recorded 355g/s on the first and couldn't top it...better than I was expecting

I got 305 on 1st run earlier then got 341 on the second run. Didn't get a chance to do any more.

There is really no reliable way to extrapolate horsepower from MAF readings. All you can say is that if car X gets higher numbers after a mod then it's probably a net gain. ECU tune not included as some can show increased MAF which would not correspond to actual higher airflow.
B7 RS4 saloon Misano red, comfy seats, JHM tune & JHM full exhaust with cats and resonators - gone.
C5 RS6 Avant Daytona/Cognac - gone.
981 Cayman GTS Gray/Orange.

yes i understand that but im looking to see if the loading is set correctly on the dyno but doesnt really matter if hes doing a before and after on maf readings alone

Hey guys, mid play-date at the moment so will post up more detailed thoughts/results later. Video to follow too.

Initial thought, don't dyno your RS4...ignorance is bliss haha.

Car is low on power, 352bhp before clean. Post clean 365bhp. Torque increase seems to be more pronounced.

No bhp increase on the golf or jag xjs.

That's a nice increase considering your car is sick. The good news is that sounds like its in vac leak territory which is generally not expensive to fix.

How many runs did you do before and after?

Post a phone video of a 3-8K run on level ground or something if you could...would show us how "sick" it is, or not.

That air filter of yours is likely to do pretty badly on a dyno compared to normal road conditions as even a good dyno fan is pretty poor airflow.
