Few tips needed from you..

I need some advice with the following:
1) When fitting KW Variant 3 coilovers but wanting to save the DRC stuff what should be done? Can the pipelines be left open or should
the be stuffed? If with what?
2) Have you done something with your inlets? I mean the inside to try to make it more difficult for carbon to get stuck
My mechanic suggests to add some ceramic coating.

3) When I removed the vacuum flap from my airbox it started to smoke black. Is this normal?

4) When replacing the clutch do you always also replace the flywheel?

Hi rob-s
1) If you want to save the DRC, the pipes should be closed off with caps. If I remeber correctly, the KW set comes with needed caps. Search the site, there should be enough info on this matter.
2) Thats the first time i've heard such plan. Probably it won't "cure" the issue, but it might help. Would be interesting to see how and if it works!
3) Did you seal the vaccum line? The engine won't run propperly if there's a vaccum leak.
4) If it's the original dualmass flywheel, it's advised to replace it. Also it's good practice to replace the slave cylinder. I upgraded my clutch with singelmass flywheel (LOBA), can't be happier! No more sticky clutch!

Hope it helps!

Marten

Thanks Marten for your reply!

Thats good news that KW comes with the caps.

I had the vacuum connected normally but removed the flap. The sound was a lot nicer at low revs without the flap!

My car RS has just exceeded 100tkm and everything works fine but I want to get the all parts so that I have them. Probably I've been reading too much at RS forums:)
