yea...

going to make a bracket for the calliper so its spaced right... it fits the hub I'm guessing the calliper is in the wrong position

with a 4mm 0r 5mm spacer behind the disk on the hub it will fit or grind away the nub on the suspension leg,

you will get alot of inside disk that isnt on contact with the pad tho

They aint small...

The additional unsprung weight and moment of inertia costs will be crippling. Bad idea.

This.

But are we talking performance here or "looks"? Plenty of people going for 20 inch wheels too even though it makes pretty much everything worse.

The RS4 brake disc size is fine. The calipers are fine, too. If you want to improve braking performance you need:

- Proper brake pads (not EBC, be prepared to spend some money)
- Brake discs with proper cooling vanes in them. The stock discs don't have any.

That's what I will do when I start tracking the car. For road use, just using decent pads will go a long way. If we're talking aesthetics then that's a different matter.

Yea dude i know the implications I'm a race technician by trade so know what is required for a performance based improvement..

i have seen a company called giro disc.. they do 380mm discs and you get the spacers too required to space the calliper out..

anyone use these?

What improvement over standard are you hoping for with larger discs? Standard discs don't fade with decent pads and fluid. I stand by my statement that moment of inertia outweighs any gains you may see.
