Thanks for the write up - it finally gave me the kick I needed to carry out this fix. Unfortunately the araldite trick didn't work for me so I ended up getting a new solenoid valve from Audi. Finally working lumbar support.

My bolsters for side does not inflate.(lumbar is good)
When I operate the lever, only clicking sound from relay reach my ears...mmm
