Definitely one for a collector, shame it's not got such a good spec.
I remember years ago thinking UR Quattros were going for silly money at £8k. If only I'd invested at the time!!!!

Even a collector at £36K though... indeed it's not a stunning spec IMHO - it has a 'colour'...
I had MKI Golf GT1 Campaign 1983. I purchased 20 years ago for £1,500. It was mint. Sold it however. Easily £13-14K now... :/

As crazy as the price may be, I think it only helps put a floor under our residuals if there are dealers out there trying to ask silly money.
My mate and I at work still joke/dream about setting up our own modern classic car investment fund - the RS4 B7 would be the first one in there
Just need a couple of multi-millionaires for seed money. Any takers??

That's another case for qualifying high residuals.
I was thinking the other day, I never see any out and about.

+1. The bucket seats are a key part of the character of these cars. IMHO

The fact it has such low miles it will probably have quite a few thing wrong with it due to just sitting there........ rubber seals, bushes and belts to name just a few things.

Sports seats, comfy or not for some, galvanise the RS and what it stands for...
This sort of money being banded around for B7's like Jay and Faisal say, only shore up current owners residuals.
The top 3 B7 RS4's on PH are all loon's, 2006 and £34K or upwards asking...

With only 17k on the clock it must've had one very large owner looking at the condition of that drivers seat bolster
