The OEM pads are more than adequate in my view, unless you're doing track days etc. Don't know how they compare price wise to other makes though.

EBC yellow stuff are equal to or better than OEM in many peoples opinions and cost a lot less than OEM.

I've recently fitted Redstuff Ceramic pads and they are excellent. No noise, very little dust and the same feel as OEM.
IMHO they're better than Yellowstuff.

My yellowstuffs were good. I had them smoking profusely at Bruntingthorpe, a bit of fade from old fluid but the pads held out well.

EBC call them their Redstuff Ceramic pads but NOT because they are ceramic brakes as such, merely that they use some ceramic in the Redstuff compound.
They are for use with standard normal steel discs:

Do you know if the R8 ones fit? Only reason I ask is they are the exact same part number and less than £150

I was looking at those. Is that £116.40 for all 8 fronts? TRW are a v.good OEM supplier.

A good cheap pad is the ferodo premier pad - about £65 for a full front set. Worked fine for me as a stopgap until I went for Yellow Stuffs (which saw 2 track days and 3 'ring trips last year, and are still going strong).
Yellow stuffs all the way IMO.
