I have the buckets seats and have the airbag light on. It's been plugged in and has a low resistance. Anyone else had the pleasure of dealing with such issue. Could I put a resistor in place?

Have you tried resetting it to see if the fault comes back again or is it permantently on?

Have you switched from comfort to bucket seats or has the light just came out of the blue?

i have buckets as standard and get the light on now and then, i find its when the seat is put fully back for cleaning carpets etc then the light sometimes comes on, for me it must be the wire going to the plug stretching or something, it clears no problem with VCDS for me though, i have removed all plugs and checked connections and nothing looks loose.

Car has always had buckets has been to Audi they have tried to reset but fault re appears when ignition goes back on. They believe there could be a fault with the airbag? That's why I was thinking of fitting resistor rather then having no working airbags.

The buckets don't have side airbags like the comforts so it could be front or curtain airbags causing the fault. Surprised it is not showing a specific fault code showing which airbag or controller is faulty. Could also be a faulty resistor in the yellow plugs under the seats.

Might be worth unplugging them to see if any more fault codes are displayed?

I have the same problem... and the light goes on and off on its own... sometimes i can get it to go off by brake or accelerating hard.... I have done a little bit of research, and it appears there is a connection under the seat that becomes loose and /or corroded... but I have not spend time trying to resolve my issues.
