Looks lovely see you went down same route as my self from the r32. To think I used to reckon my r32 was fast and handled well lol.

Yes jay your right it is underpowered @ 240 bhp stock plus it's a heavy girl at 1450kg but i didn't buy it for the power it was the look not many made ( mk4 ) and the sound I guess I could have brought a newer VXR lol

Any way that's gone now and I have the Rs and I'm sure I'll have comments from others like why did spend ££££ when I could have a newer focus RS bla bla na vag for me

Welcome to the forum - pleasure to see your nice RS4 :)

I run 8mm spacers all round on SS+ suspension and it rubs still occasionally - I'm missing a section of rear arch on the drivers side. However, I do track the car a little and I think that's probably the cause. For day-to-day use I think 8mm all round is great - looks good and doesn't rub that I can hear on the road :)

Get it carbon cleaned and remapped by MRC and you'll feel even better :p

cheers ross

i took it for mot today yes i took a chance with buying a car with 2 months mot left but seen as its only covered 1000 since the last i figured all would be ok and sure did passed with out an advisory too :D

i asked about a carbon clean @ midland vw i really only use them as ive a great relationship with the guys there but im told by the last owner its been done but he wasnt clear on when as it was done buy the owner before him .

so how can you tell if it needs it theres not flat spots in the rev range and pulls really well ?
