Please DON'T SHOUT!
I think the alu mirrors is one of the things that sets the car apart from the humdrum lower spec models. I've been tempted to do mine but always end up keeping them standard. Only you can decide what colour to do them - not strangers on the internet! I would say most pople would go body colour or wheel colour though.

here are the mirrors, I hate the condition they are in .
Re: RS4 B7 MIRRORS - CHANGING THE COLOR
OEM matt aluminium for me - like Ross mentions, it's that colour and finish that sets the car apart...

Re: RS4 B7 MIRRORS - CHANGING THE COLOR
I think they look awful tacky MATT plastic. rs's use to have proper alu mirrors bloody cheapskates. I was going to have mine done body colour but the painter could get them to split from the mount and advised he couldn't get them perfect masking them up so told him not to bother

Re: RS4 B7 MIRRORS - CHANGING THE COLOR
With the original silver wheels I reckon they should be left standard, however if the wheels have been refurbed and painted a different colour, in my case the Audi Ti colour I went for a match with the wheels and more than happy with the outcome!!

Re: RS4 B7 MIRRORS - CHANGING THE COLOR
i was thinking of carbon fibre wrap.i have to agree im not a fan of the matt aluminium if thats what it is,seems to be out of place some how,or maybe just get them sprayed daytona grey like car
Re: RS4 B7 MIRRORS - CHANGING THE COLOR
Jay, your car have black optics doesn't it? And given your wheels are Audi titanium, I'd be going with the same on the mirrors. Although body coloured suit them too.
It's the shape that makes the difference on the B7. As Dave mentioned the B5 and C5 came with solid single piece billet aluminium mirror housing so you could appreciate were the money went. Funnily enough as they went to plastic on the B7 they price didn't drop accordingly, lol
