In my experience i would say that fitting braided lines are worth it.

They are also not overly expensive.

I changed form OEM to HEL braided all round (£78 delieverd) coupled with a fluid change using ATE Blue and I noticed better pedal feel and firmness.

I would say for the money involved, it's a great upgrade...

I did the same as Neil, hel all round. Tbh I don't feel much difference but maybe I drive like an old lady, I still recommend it if you have the original hoses.
Got mine done at my service where they changed the fluid, came in at 2 hrs labour as they had trouble getting the oem hoses off due to corrosion.

Did you guys have any problems fitting the rears? I was advised against it as the fittings are prone to shearing and requiring new brake pipes to be fitted

I have and can't say I noticed any difference really, but I did it when the car was younger and oe ones were probably tip top condition.I was surprised as I've always had a noticeable improvement on bikes I've upgraded.
