Either matt or gloss black. That silver looks really tacky, cheap plastic chrome! Yuck. Looks like phase one of 'bling my car with as much tacky shiny plastic as possible'.

I don't know why car manufacturers insist on putting plastic pretending to be chrome on cars... well actually I do cos it sounds like most of you like it. The only place for chrome on cars is real metal chrome plated as found on classic cars. My old AC Cobra kit car had lots of chrome bits and it looked right.

I'd make the de-tangoing a priority over the rings TBH. Your car more than most: the white seems to exaggerate the orangeness.

Personally I agree with Mike regarding the cheap look of the plastic chrome, was thinking Matt black myself. As for a de-tango, wouldn't where to start.

Yeah I agree on the detango (I think I pointed that out in your orignal thread), but this is not as easy and quick as the rings though.

To detango you have 2 options;
1) Buy the later headlights with the clear indicators. This is the easier of the 2 options but clearly more expensive.
2) Take your existing ones and heat them up to seperate the front part (clear plastic) from the rear casing. This will then allow you to get rid of the orange bit. Not sure if you just remove it or if you have to replace it with a clear version as I've never done it. Cheaper but harder.
Either way it involves removing the bumper.

Thanks Mike, i'll leave the de tango for now, don't want to take the bumper off just yet.

I like colour coded to be honest. but it really is a personal preference for everyone!....
I use my car and bike for business.... My company logo is Black and (mango) yellow, so they are both geared towards that theme....
The vehicles are black, with the yellow accentuations.... I plan to get the front emblem coloured too!
