Finally Taken the RS of the road yesterday to carry out the following work I have been meaning to do for over a year now, just turned over 74k miles so think she needs spoiling

any advice/tips or items I am missing would be appreciated, as usual many photos will follow
(Fuel filter, coolant, diff/gearbox oils and cold air feed already carried out)
So firstly On my drive:
Full carbon clean of inlet ports (Tonys method, parts ordered, will make port fitting later this week)
Clean k&n filter
New pollen filter
Renew spark plugs
Install stage 2 Mrc inlet manifold and new gaskets including new valve and extended hose
Then onto my mates garage to carry out:
Oil/filter change
Gutting of precat's
Brake fluid change
Then onto MRC for stage 2 map - can't wait
Then in August a trip to the ring and f1 track, been 6 years since my last visit, did 8.35 mins BTG in a 300 + hp astra gsi
Cheers, Steve

Fuel filter would be something else worth adding to the list.
Take some pics of the DIY carbon clean as I'm sure it will help come resale time

This is exactly what I'm planning in doing in the next few weeks! Any more info on the DIY carbon clean? I'm handy with a spanner and would rather save the £800 or what ever for other things!!!
Also, quick question. Where you buying the service items from? Audi/GSF/euro car parts?
Cheers, Tom.

Actually, while doing the carbon clean, it's probably worth giving the fuel injectors a service. Anyone fancy giving this a shot. There's plenty of stuff on
YouTube on how to clean them out so that the spray pattern is restored.
I wish I'd done this on mine tbh.

I'd order new studs and copper washers for the down pipes when you take them off. As they will be rusted and snap off.
How difficult is it to change the fuel filter. And what is involved to clean the injectors?

Fuel filter is pretty easy, just need to remove the small under tray near the rear offside arch to get access.

Already done the fuel filter last years service
Injectors......not thought of servicing them, I am getting all parts trade from a mate who runs a local garage so good prices, think he has a very expensive injector cleaning machine too
Got back from work late tonight so only got the air filter off, noticed much more crud in there following the CAF mod than before

Great before pics. Looking forward to seeing gleaming valve stems.
Just to think Audi spent tonnes of time and money on research and development to get the intake valves looking like this.
