Right, been told to replace this clutch assist line as it could be the problem with my clutch!
Seen bits and bobs about in on forums, but when I as TPS or jct600 about the part, they haven't a clue what it is!
Could someone please clarify that there is actually a vacuum pipe that assists in returning the pedal that's not the hydraulic hose from the master to the slave.
An if this does exist is there any chance someone may have a part number and location and what sort of a job it is to replace?
Thankyou!!

Re: Clutch vacuum assist line.
Not sure of the part number or what its actually called.
All i do know is that replacing it didnt fix my sticky clutch.
As it looks like this is a job you will be doing yourself i would recommend that before you start you buy some replacement manifold studs as you need to seperate to get to the clutch parts and these studs tend to seaze and need cuttting and retapping, only a few quid for 6 studs from Audi so worth getting before you start the job just in case.

Re: Clutch vacuum assist line.
That's great Thankyou! So the manifold has to be removed just to change the vac assist pipe? This should be fun then!!
