My first Audi

Post by Regy53 » Tue Jun 03, 2014 10:49 pm

Hi all,

My first every Audi here. I have owned a host of cars in the past Supercharged m3, bmw 335d general company cars and track cars alike.

I have never spent so much on a car in the past but I have also never had such a car. I do not know where a v8 has been in my life tbh. I just adore it.

So I bought it of a forum member who loved the car as much as I do.

2006
77k
non res miltek
de carbon
stage one by amd
lepson rims
decent service history with clutch change etc

Apparently kicking out 420 odd bhp and 290 torques.

I booked it in with MRC on my second day of ownership after reading a thread on here, stage 2 and pre cat removal plus cold start delete etc coming up.

Also I overlooked the tyres a little the seller told me they had a few K left in them but the passenger side was down to 1mm which I missed :( I did look at the drivers side which was around 2mm. Two new rear PS3's being fitted tomorrow

one thing I will say is I never wanted red, I saw the pics and was like ermmm... but I went to view, oh my how I changed my mind. Also people notice this car and actually stop in their tracks, I have had thumbs up from people and all sorts. I never had that in my m3!

The car is a credit to the last owner and infact the pictures are not after cleaning but after around 400 miles

BTW what would that be on coilovers? wouldnt be the standard SS springs right as the front seems lower. The red in that stance looks really nice :-) Both the B7 and B5 are the only red cars I like, just makes them look classy rather than in your face like the colour does on some other cars

Is this Ginors4's old car? Certainly looks like it. If so, it is on KW coilovers.

Yes it's Gino's old car. His signature conforms KW V3 coilovers.

Great looking car. Best colour too (Phantom Black is just SO last year don't you know :D ) and of course it's well known that Transits (Avants) make you better in bed than taxis (saloons).
Misano Red B7 RS4 Avant. 20" Rotors. KW adjustable spring kit. 8 & 10mm H&R spacers. MRC Stage 2 remap. Pre-cat delete & x-pipe.
