I had pilot 2s on my TTS and liked them, but have stuck with contis on my rs4 (on recommendation of service centre manager who used to run a tyre centre) as not that much difference but pilots were significantly more expensive last time I asked.

PS3's are a good tyre but they are designed to be harder wearing. Were as the PS2 and more recently the Super Sport tyres are designed with performance in mind and therefore have a softer compound. Having had P Zeros, Eagle F1's, Continental, PS2, 3 and SS's I'd always go for PS2 or SS.

i got a set of PS3's last month done a thousand or so miles and i like them, tbh i would have went for the super sports if they were in stock on the day i needed them. but all in all the PS3's are a really good tyre. If buying online try www.openeo.com they seemed to be the cheapest around for me

Big tick in the box for PS3's from me too. Road noise dissipation is excellent... :beerchug:

I personally wouldn't fit anything other than Michelin. I had them on my S4 and they were fitted to the RS when I bought it. On the S4 it felt as though the car was floating, (in a good way!) when I first took it down the road. The grip, feedback and wear levels make tyre choice a no brainer for me at least!

I'm going with Pilot Super Sports next, my PS2's are nearly finished and getting quite a lot of understeer now. Not sure how many miles they've done as I haven't had the car long but they seem to have worn nice and evenly. A friend suggested P-Zeros and I'm glad I had a read around first, Michelin all the way!

I have Goodyear Eagle F1 Assy 2 and they are really good, won Evo tyre of the year 2013 and only cost £178 a corner fitted.

I've got Kumho Ecsta's on mine. Can't rate them enough!!
My tyre guy runs a C5 RS6 running around 650bhp and he uses them, so recommended them to me!! No complaints so far!!

Just another option to look at!!
