Re: 20 x 10.5's. No going back. Now fitted

i was looking in to these wheels a few weeks ago. but i was gonna go for 20x9 front 20x10.5 rear offsets of 25 and 30 so no spacers needed. thats the set up on the black rs4. then sort rolling radious out with the tyre size. just i use thexcar every day and thought wheels i little to xtreme for eveyday driving

cant wait to see them on. what have you got avant or saloon?

It's a saloon so hopefully will look something like the picture Rick posted above

oem is 29 ET and 9"
you are using 42 and 10.5?

the new wheel will extend outwards ~ -(42-29) + (10.5-9) * 25.4 / 2 ~ 6 mm, should be fine

inside clearance will be 13 + 19 or 31 mm deeper, most likely will hit the suspension

If I'm following you then using spacers should sort the clearance of the suspension? But obviously need more arch work.

this was 10.5 with 8mm spacers on, cant remember the offset now , the tyres wernt stretched so looked very wrong, 10.5 fitted the rear ok.

fronts stuck out too much, and didnt like the wheels once on,

i think you should be ok but it will be a faf

I've seen the air suspension advertised. I take it that the struts are thinner on air suspension allowing more room for clearance?

This isn't on air, has coil over on it, it has 9j fronts and 10.5 rears, I am going to be ordering theses in a few months so can't wait so my rotors wil be forsale

Everywhere I've looked says it has 10.5 all round.
