Damaged looking down pipes

Hi guys, I had smelt a bit of a burning smell once parked up a couple of times today so thought I would have a look under the car for signs of oil etc. all good there as far as I could see but I did notice the down pipe sections below are all frayed and look like they could be scraping everytime I go on to my drive. I knew it was tight when the car was lowered but I couldn't hear any scraping. Can these sections easily be replaced or do the whole down pipes need replacing?
Thanks

same thing has happened to mine i think its speed bumps, the problem about fixing them is the size of the standard audi pipe, you might have to get a piece stepped up to 2.5'' for the flexi, then back down to the catback

I think I'll need to get it up on a ramp to have a proper look, had another look this morning and there were a few drops coming from the drivers side one that seemed to go away once the car had warmed up. Do you think it will cause major issues driving with it like that for now? Thanks

I had that on mine! Infinity exhaust charged me £100 to put 2 new flexies on

no itll be fine, even if it blows, that braid thats freyed is only an additional protector over the actual flexi, sothe exhaust is still ok at the moment
