B7 rear diff noise

Well loving the new car,
However today in a multi story car park I noticed that rear diff seems to be binding a little on the inside wheel,
Taking it back to the garage I bought it from tomorrow, tried a search on here and couldn't find much, a google search came up saying it can be a known problem in all quattro cars, surely this isn't right?
And info/help would be great, don't want to get fobbed off by the dealer tomorrow
Cheers
Lee

Change the diff oil, very simple to do.

Sometimes the fwd systems are a little less tolerant to tight turning circles and will try and fight as the diffs load up, more noticeable at slow speeds and shiny surfaces like a multi-storey, unless it's got a grumble on the move it's probably ok, could be the rear brakes binding especially if the car has been stood, cold that be it?

Forgot to say, I thought the fwd systems on these cars are fairly robust ..... Assuming it's been maintained etc. don't know of any inherent issues with the drivetrain and I've been lurking round these parts for a while

I've had several 4wd cars in the past and not experienced this with any of them,
The thing that worries me is my brother had an evo 8 6 year ago and he had a similar problem, which admittedly was worse (the inside wheel locked up totally at low speed) which was very expensive to fix,
Hopefully the garage will sort it tomorrow, I'll let you know how I get on

the rear diff (and front ) is open on these cars so cannot bind , so the noise you hear is most likely tyre srub not the rear diff , all rs4 i have been in will do it at low speed due to the 4wd and the type of tyre /surface , my contis were very noisy but the GY are not so bad

Yes I think it's just my overactive mind!
The cars back at the garage, they've checked it over, checked the diff oil etc, and alls well,
It's getting a geometry check and set up tomorrow and also getting the headlight bulbs changed out too which I believe is a pig of a job, either bumper off or strip air box etc...
