Juddering/kangarooing for first 5 mins?

Hi guys.
Happy new year.
My 2006 RS4 developed a juddering/kangarooing after initial cold start a couple of months back.
I recently had it serviced at a specialists near cambridge where they carried out a 45k service. New plugs, filters etc.
I thought this may have cured the problem but it seems not. the problem goes after about 5 mins once the engine has warmed up.
Has anyone experienced this problem in the past? What is the solution?
thanks
Simon

mine does it but i have stage 2 inlet manifold with removed flaps, this makes the throttle jumpy, maybe you have sticky flaps

What software version are you running. SW0090 aimed to reduce jerkiness on startup - partly by running a higher idle for a short while

seems to be common on these cars , mine did it before i fitted the supercharger fitted and it still does it a little even with a full custom map

+1
I had jerky running for the first mile or so after a cold start when I had SW 0080, getting it updated to SW0090 has solved the problem.
My MRC remap has got rid of the very fast initial idle that came with SW0090.

I bought my car in Jan this year and have exactly the same problem - particularly on light throttle opening. It's not quite as bad now that the mornings are warmer but it is a bit annoying.
For those who've had the upgrade to SW0090, do you reckon it's worth it or is the fast idle just as annoying as the jerkiness?

I did the 0080 to 0090 upgrade about 4 years ago, and don't regret doing it - yes the fast idle is a bit of a pain but for me the jerkiness was more annoying.
