H+R coilover fitting question

hi im currently fitting the coilovers the my b7, which way up have you guys fitted the rear spring adjusters ? if you have the adjuster at the top as i would of thought it went there's nothing for the cup to locate in it just sits up against the chassis ? but upside down it seems to sit nicely in a recess

any help would be great cheers chris

every time iv seen the adjustables on rears of cars the threaded adjuster has been mounted on the bottom

ok cheers just seems odd thats all, on the kw's it says mount it on the top, just wondered where others had there's mounted ?
