Just booked the car in for a full custom wrap I've decided to keep the car
And I know this will protect my paintwork for future when
I do decide to sell

Currently in immaculate phantom black

Any ideas on colours will be much appreciated
And will post pics once done

You found somewhere trustworthy to do it?

Go for something bold if a wrap.... orange would be great.

If the aim is protection and you have immaculate paint why not just use a clear wrap?? Best of both worlds ;-) Most of the coloured wraps I've seen IMO look :dung: But maybe I've not come across a good wrap yet??.

Marc,

I think it will put people off the car, but try to find somewhere that will guaranty in writing, that there’ll be no damage to the original paintwork upon wrap removal.

As for colour choice, I'd be in two frames of mind:

Bold - Kawasaki green
Fashionable that may help resale - A matt/frost colour

+1. Dunno where you got the idea that a wrap will protect your paint but that's BS. Seriously, have you handled a vinyl before?? There's just no way it can do the job

If you fancy a different look then cool, go with the wrap. If you want real paint protection go with a proper clear bra

Good on ya Marc, hats off to ya for going for it mate :beerchug:

Can Recommend Valet Magic mate. They are so fussy its beyond belief!!

As for colour......if it was mine I would go white. They did a Range Rover Sport from Black to White with Same wheel colour as mine and it looked REEEEEEEEEEEEEEM :kissmyrings:

White on Black is the hardest Wrap as it has to be perfect to stop the window & shut lines showing through.

Would seriously recommend you call Robbie for a quote mate :thumb:

Trust me Ive been doin my research for over a year now and I know I will have to travel over
250 miles to these guys but at least I know with these guys its not gonna get butchered

All the cutting is done off the car and if I get board in a year or 2 time they will remove the wrap and garuntee the paint work how I left it

Even as much as I love my black car and foreva polishing and
Waxing it to keep it immaculate I'm hoping this will prolong me from
Keeping it so clean all the time.

So come
On bring on all your colour
Ideas and
Will keep you posted this is not being done till November so the more
Votes the berter :biggrin3:

Pearlescent white with black optics or Suzuka grey pearl :nodder:

Another vote for orange or white. Green would be cool but that would defo have to be short term only.
Is it an avant?

Can't wait to see it done.

Who did you go with?

Ben, I only want my window trims wrapped so not as important as doing the whole car but is there any half decent places around Leicester / Coventry? PM if you know of any rather than drag this too off topic.
