I believe the ceramic rears from the R8 will fit (might need some adjusting). Are you fitting them to a B5?

yes ive currently got the ap setup on my b5 with 362 front discs and 6 pot calipers and on the back they are 343 mm discs with a 4 pot caliper and a seperate handbrake caliper, i know movit do a full kit but i want to be able to use my 18 inch track wheels and they are ridiculasly expensive. :biggrin2:

Whilst the R8 rears would fit under 18" wheels the front ceramic option comes in at a larger 380x38 and would then require 19" wheels, this is for both B7 and R8 from what I've been looking into.

18 " wheels will fit over 380mm discs. :bigwave:

you may well be able to fit the r8 rear setup physically but the pistons are sized for a rear engined car and will be far too powerful for a front engined car. :biggrin2:

+1 was about to say the balance will be shot to hell.

Given that you have to tweak the brake ecu to let it know it has ceramics I would suspect that this would not cope to well with ceramics on the rear as it'll assume that they are conventional discs.

on the b5 i can see that there will be a coding option for ceramics but as long as the piston sizes are balanced i cant see there being a problem. on the ap,s the pistons in the rear calipers are tiny which obviously stops the rear end getting too much stopping power. :nogarors4:

I might be wrong but I seem to remember reading that the disc isn't the problem, it was the larger heatshields used on the ceramic option.
