Just pull it out.
Clips on the badge itself will snap but no avoiding that even if uber careful

To remove it properly you need to release the little plastic catches at the back which means removing the bumper. However, this is a waste of time, as DK says, pull the thing off. If you need to use it again, buy a new one. You can release a few of the catches from the front if you are a little nifty but ultimately you are bound to break a few; you can see the position of the catches from your new badge.

I was right!

I don't like the black rear badges, but they are much better than the shiney silver ones. I just left mine off instead.

I like black rear but normal front. I have an Avus car.

I think you need the rings to contrast and standout. Black on black they just kinda disappear.

I wanted mine to disappear, hence black on the front (couldn't get rid of it altogether as it's mounting bracket would stil be there) and none on the rear.
