Washed the car today to find scratches on the roof, boot and bonnet. Looks like two cats had a set too on my car. Very thin sharp marks through to the white primer.

Off to the local detailer tomorrow to see if he can do anything as it is booked in on Saturday anyway for a valet ready for Sunday.

An old friend of mine kept having the trouble of a cat strutting all over the bonnet of his old Mk1 Astra GTE. He decided to arm himself with an air rifle to scare it off and ended up putting a hole through the bonnet instead. You can imagine how impressed he was!

Had same thing on roof of mine - had full paintwork correction done at Valet Magic then couple of weeks later a load of weird random scratches appeared looks like cat / bird or perhaps both lol !

My two cats occasionally walk over mine whilst its parked up in the garage. The little dears Nearly always leaves a few scratches, fortunately I've always been able to polish them out so far. I briefly considered a car cover but a mate of mine got a really decent one for his Porsche only to find his cat started using the whole thing as a gigantic scratching post

I'll bring some stuff if you want me to have a go? Got some new sealant too I had to give them my paint code and cost £60 for 50ml. Hope it's enuff to do the car......?

People/animals not respecting cars should not be allowed oxygen!
