Hi guys

I am on holiday at the moment, only to have the dreaded call, house burgled, car stolen. This is the second time, they couldn't find keys last time, nicked the wife's golf fully loaded and burnt it out. This time they got lucky. Tracker
insured, Is it worth it.? I've had the car from new, can't find anything to replace, wife now adamant, evenif found, sell sell sell. bummer!

I'm in Herts, look out for Red RS4 Avant plate probably now changed but was RS07 FOR distinguishing marks, optics pack ali trims 275x30 new F1's it was perfect. Just had new front discs......

Be careful out there....

Hope they burn in hell.

Did you leave keys in house when you were on holiday?

Mine go every where with me?

Really sorry to see this.

Would never dream of leaving my car at home when away.

Hence why mine is at Gatwick whilst I type this in Greece.

Sorry to hear about this, RS4 vigilante group in order soon! If my car had of been stolen rather than just the interior ripped out I dont think I would want it back, but I guess you never can say until you are put in that situation. Im sure its the last thing you wanted to hear about whilst on holiday. I have actually been looking round at other cars incase I decide to just change cars but really cant think of anything that would tick so many boxes. Hope you get sorted out whichever way and will keep an eye out

Very, very sorry to hear this. This is unfortunately this is another wake up call for all of us that our motor's are still very desirable. First bucket seats stolen this week and now your motor.
We should all take this as a reminder to us all about key/vehicle location security as well. Did you say it had a tracker? Has this not had any impact? or policing / vehicle recovery? I must admit I was going to get one for my car but when my insurance company said it won't make any difference to policy ETC I thought what the hell am I forking out over a grand for ...

My sympathies go out to you - I hope the insurance ETC is smooth and that you are looked after.

Sorry to hear this. If you don't mind me asking, how did they gain entry?

I recently replaced all external locks with anti snap anti bump barrels after watching 5 mins of YouTube.

Yes the euro locks are a joke.
When I replaced mine I had a go to see how easy it was. My record was 17 seconds.

Thanks all.

Tracker fitted, but not sure if worth it as I found out car had gone probably 16 hrs after event and by the time Police Tracker notified, the car was probably tucked away somewhere in a container.

Entry was thorough Oak door bolted and locked, not euro cylinder. They must of used a great big crowbar. As I am off the beaten track no one saw them.

Oh well back to the beach, must say I'm not looking forward to going home........
