New steering wheel fitted....

Had my custom made wheel fitted today. Such an improvement over the standard multifunction wheel, the reduced diameter (370mm down to 340mm) and the thicker rim make the wheel feel so much nicer when driving. All multifunctions retained as the buttons and airbag are actually removed from old wheel and put into the new one, so literally plug and play. Full price was €498 including postage but €70 is refunded when you return the old wheel to him. You can get them here if anyones interested;

It's just the picture, it's considerably smaller than the MFSW.

Nice legs!

Nice wheel.

The brightness of the sun makes your dashboard look like a nice beige plastic from an 1980's Nissan Micra.

hmmm, i'm still not sure about going for this.

Any chance you could take a shot further out, or from the back seat to se how it looks in relation to the cabin?

It also looks like the view to the instrument cluster is impeded?

Not sure about the look TBH, I think it's the shape of the centre of the wheel, however the main thing is that your happy with it, a picture from outside the car looking in with door open might give a better idea

really hard to tell with the pics, it does seem larger than the one removed.

While I think the wheel is nice I am not a fan of the oblong air bags. I much prefer the round one like the FBSWhas. I'd have persoanlly gone for that but I understand it is much easier / cheaper to use the same air bag you already own.
