As trups says it's a capristo.
Love the tail pipes on it, love the sound of it, but somewhat less keen on the price. I'm sure I was quoted about £4k when I asked about it.

Apparently they throttle the engine as they are not wide enough for exhaust flow. As others have said they are mega bucks - but if you don't care about restricting the engine and want the best sound/build quality the Capristo is up there with the best of em.

I love the sound of the Capristo but not so keen on the ceramic coated tips. I think the 4k price is including an optional controller that adjusts the flapper valves depending on back pressure/or the mood you are in. Supersprint are working on a new system that has flapper valves and oval tips so I might have to look into selling a kidney.

It did indeed include the controller and fitting...so all in all, a bit of a bargain....

Have been very happy with my Supersprint and the tone has just got better 'n' better (imho).

Do you have a note of the Supersprint parts you had fitted? There seem to be two sets of numbers, one for the older system and another set for the new valved setup. Thinking about running a x-pipe with the valved back boxes to give a good balance of not waking the whole street up in the morning and sounding good on a backroad.
I had a look on
YouTube and the Supersprint setup seems to have more of a rasp to it now, does the car still burble in 3rd and 4th at low revs under load?

I'll have to dig out the part numbers as I've had the system for over a year now (so guess it's the older system).
I also have the Supersprint downpipes,sport-cats x-box etc. (no valves). It's definitely raspier than say a milltek but I love the sound.
Build quality and materials are excellent. Yes you get a lovely grunt when under load.
I've also got a brand new set of straight-pipes that were ordered at the same time but never fitted (still in shrink-wrap).
Was going to fit them for a laugh but think the neighbours will get p*ssed off until I can get the pesky cold start dialled out.

I see they are doing manifolds as well now so hope you do not suffer from OCD.
My old VW R32 had a really nice rasp to it that I loved so I think I might end up going down the Supersprint route.
I think I would be tempted to fit the straight pipes if only for one day, just be sure to post it on
YouTube afterwards!
Read a fair bit on here about people having the cold start removed but to be honest, I really like it. Pretty sure it can only add to the carbon build-up problem and it must really annoy my neighbours (my exhaust valves are always open) but it makes me smile every time I push the starter button
