I gave some thought to an A4 Allroad 2.0TDi S-tronic for everyday business use.
Lister Audi knock them out at £275 per month on a lease deal.
Or if buying outright, then there are big discounts to be had on Autoebid.com

So glad you're still around - helluvva cut on your bonce fella?
-must have been like CSI East Sussex inside the car?

Lucky these cars are so strong?

That's a cool boat, Ian, I'm seeing the car tomorrow but am told it looked far worse on the truck that collected it than in the photos, apparently the steering wheel was 2" of the floor, the inside of the car was a mess, I saw a gap , crawled through it and found myself wedged in passenger door window gap where the firemen cut me out from, been back to crash site and it was carnage, bits everywhere, found the cup holder! Gonna try and salvage personal possessions if there are any in the morning .

Yeah sure know the road, often took the lotus for a blat along there before it became too track orientated.

Can't pin point that exact spot from your pic but have an idea but iirc often skid marks there so don't think it is just you!!!

Daz,

It's a Wally 118

http://www.wally.com/wally-118/

60 knots+

It even has a carbon fibre lavvy seat - how cool is that?

From the carnage you describe, you are a lucky fella - that steering column could have been very nasty?
You might get a bit emotional when you go back, (........natural feeling)so don't go on your own.

Is that a wally boat? Wonderful things.

Get an a4 Quattro 3l tdi. Job done. Safe and not too fast.

Hi Roy , must have been the roof caving in at a guess and at 5'5 I'm glad to be stumpy :).well see how much insurance payout is , I paid 24 k with 44500 when I picked it up, only had 46500 on it and I'd had it serviced and had new pads discs added, but we all know they will offer f all. It had all the toys except sunroof , any ideas on an acceptable figure guys?

Hi daz, glad you're still around to tell the story, that head gash looks serious
In terms of insurance, then you'll generally start at a very low point and you'll have to work it up with them. I wouldn't be expecting the first offer to have much sunlight between it and 20k if even that. Insurance co's trade on people not knowing the value of their cars and offering silly money

Btw, great history of cars in your footer, I've had most of them too and there's some great memories in there. Especially the RS fords from back in the day and in more recent years a mk5 gti dsg too
