Stolen from Aberdeen 07-01-13 - Sprint Blue B7 RS4 "T99 RKY

They're at it again or did they ever stop! Three Audis stolen from the same street in Cults (affluent suburb) last night. One was my boss's wife's lift to work - standing waiting to get picked up this morning and got a phone call to say she would have to get the bus as her colleague's car had been stolen the night before!

Seems they had left a door unlocked and they sneaked in and stole a laptop and the keys. Shows how careless/unconcerned people can be even after the publicity generated by the subject of this topic when it first surfaced.

If there have been any thefts over the last few weeks they've been kept quiet in the press. At least it won't have been this pair - detained in custody until sentencing. Hoefully they'll get put away for decent stretch. 2 down, how many more to go is anybody's guess! A friend of mine was 1 of 15 - so got a few more details than was in the press after it was all over - they deserve all they get and more!!

Police performance in these instances seems shocking. Wonder how much of this is due to top-heavy politics, Human rights and EU legislation ?!

For me - the point about the courts rings true. If you watch the ever-increasing number of TV programmes about 'motorway madness' - you see varieties of teens stealing cars, getting caught, going to court and getting both suspended sentences and 'bans' when they don't even have Driving licenses. And this is what they show on TV! Can you imagine the other more lenient sentences handed out by the courts which TV companies are too embarrassed to put on these shows.

Just hope the coppers can catch up with the rest of them who are still at it. Would help if the public played their part - one of my neigbours is a copper and was quizzing him on the subject a couple of weeks ago. He mentioned that 4 men in balaclava's were seen in a street close to where we live trying car/house/garage doors at 4am and the person who saw them didnt phone the police straight away as he thought they wouldnt bother to come out! He also confirmed they have no pursuit policy and the neds know it so are basically sticking 2 fingers up at them and us. They are even saying the police are chasing them when theyre not to try and get off!
