These cars are being stolen for joy-rides and nothing more. This particular one was found burnt out in Cove.

There's a no pursuit policy with Grampian Police so the little scrotes responsible know they can get away (especially in something like an RS4).

Gents,
Any details on how it was stolen, keys stolen from house?
I'm gonna disable mine when I'm away, maybe go as far as removing a wheel and keeping it on an axle stand!!!
Am I being paranoid??? :?

Yup, house break in, keys stolen. It was reported quickly and spotted several times, but still took more than 8 hours to be tracked down (and even then it was only found because it was on fire!).

Did it have a tracker unit fitted and if so was it activated?

Sack the PCC then, scrotes like this need to know that the WILL get caught otherwise car crime will become an ever increasing problem.

I hope so, maybe then somebody might do something about all the thefts. if they thought the stolen RS4s were being used for terrorism and started shooting the drivers in stolen cars it might make the little scrotes think twice about nicking them.

+1

Although shooting would be too fast and painless, I'd like to see the scrotes waterboarded or worse :<beep>_you:

I think we would get pulled over a lot more if that was the case!

I'm not suggesting this is the case here, but a lot of thefts could potentially be insurance fraud - owner better off with payout than defaulting on finance and/or fixing an expensive problem, it does happen.

Ah, it was a sprint blue estate. Common as muck they are. Maybe they needed an Avant for their pitbulls.
