Hi guys,
After trying to sell my S3 for months, and then the RS4 that inspired the move going to another forum member (pekingprawn's stunning example) I started properly hunting for an RS4 to fill the void. I just picked up a cracking Daytona saloon, optics, buckets, nav etc 42k miles... I drove it up from Kirkcaldy and loved every mile! Was planning on exhaust/intake/map etc, and wheels in the spring but after driving the car I'm not sure I'll need to do anything to it for a while. Wheels will probably still happen, I'm playing it safe and going for 20" RS6s (that's the plan anyway).
Not the cleanest a car has ever been, so will get photos up soon (as per Rule 1).
Martin

Welcome mate.
I notice you said that you "drove it up from kirkcaldy". Where about are you? I'm putting together a NE Scotland meet soon, possibly with a wee run weather permitting.

I live in Aberdeen... would certainly be up for a meet/run with a group of S/RSs. Let me know when you arrange something. I'm one of the moderators for the Scottish meets/events sub-forum on audi-sport.net too, so we can easily get a group of Audis together.
Just let me know.

Enjoy the car, hope to meet you if it works out for 22B's meet.

I was going to go along to see Paul's RS6, and gda's 335 (which put out 505 at the fly!). Was considering sticking on the S3 sans-mods, but it was only the intake that had come off so not much point.

All the best with it Martin! You got the spec you were after at a good price. If your boss ever wants to ditch the crazy Beemer you know how good my RS4 is! (ad now in classifieds, might as well plug where I can

)

He's talking about a Maser Quattroporte or a big Merc. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend your RS4 to anyone looking though, GLWS.

I had the great pleasure of owning one for 5 years. Fantastic machine that I really didn't want to sell but felt I was missing out on owning other cars by holding on to it for too long. My RS4 was meant to be the replacement but it was a year or so before I could bring myself to sell it!
