I know Kev but I don't intend selling her ever. I will know better what to do once the bodyshop pulls her apart. I will put her down if she's unfixable ie forever rear end traction issues due to flexing chassis. I'll post up once I've found out. If she's viable then I'll need to have a chat to you about exhausts if that's okay?

Tyres were made week 30 of 2013 - so quite new.toyneg wrote:I have done a video like you did to show the wobble on my tyres. does this seem excessive, it does to me?
the DOT numbers on all my tyres is DM32 JA3R 3013

These are filled with Nitrogen at 40psi and have done about 250 miles

Your flexing - seriously, any decent low profile tyre should never flex like that when gently provoked by a bod. Even if a 12 stone bloke used his full bodyweight to rock a car and get those results - think what happens when 1.8 tonnes of car can do to them on the twisties. Flexing sidewalls, especially on low profile tyres, are the biggest cause of tyre blow-outs - just ask Pirelli about their shyte F1 tyres!
Did you pay extra for nitrogen fill?

no didnt pay any extra for Nitrogen, they just offered it so thought why not - i sent the video to Goodyear and spoke to 2 of their techys on the phone - they both watched it while i was on the phone and seemed quite happy that they were as they should be - explained how the assy 2 doesnt have the shoulder support compared to the assym 1s - they said they were prob not the best tyre for hard cornering which didnt feel me with much confidence - strangely though EVO just awarded them the tyre of the year 2013.

Yeah. Been collecting parts. So far found bumper, exhaust and 4x rear sensors for £225, £160 and £70 respectively. Pannels, bumper bar, exhaust hangers and nuts and bolts coming in at about £500. So far so good
Car was spost to be in body Shop today but was sick over weekend. Maybe tomorrow if I've not upset them too much......

Sorry for no updates, all sorts going on. So, I'm in the process of ripping her down. Just gotta get new exhaust on and side skirts off. I'm having issues trying to remove the skirts, got back and middle off but can't see how the front detaches? Seriously considering DK's downpipes and cats too......

Re: Dodgy Rear End issue.....

there is a torx fixing on one side, open the door and look through at the back edge of the wing and you will see it at the bottom.esp_mm-270 wrote:Sorry for no updates, all sorts going on. then on the other side there is a smaller torx hidden behind your wheel arch liner, remove the small torx holding your liner at the bottom of your wing where it meets the skirt and ease it out the way you will see the torx holding the front part of the skirt on.

Re: Dodgy Rear End issue.....
I got all but the last one you described Sar. I didn't undo it as it looked like it screwed in to a black plastic part that wasn't attached to the skirt. Thanks, I'll look at that bit again tomorrow. Just for info, is the last screw facing out towards the wheel or the floor?
