The seats look amazing. Brilliant attention to detail.

Am I right in thinking you're from Edinburgh? Never seen your car around :( . Would love to see it in the flesh.

Wow, be interesting to hear what a 360 is like to run, a dream car to own, is it the one you've had your eye on for a while? Do you have a specialist near you or is Elite Auto Works gonna look after it for you?

The RS has done just under 38k so I've not done many miles at all...yet!

Its a friends car the same guy i bought the rs4 off.
Its a 2001 360 rosso red cream interior carbon sport seats f1 gearbox 8k miles from new has not moved in 4 years so it will need re commissioning. I hope no more than 4k to get it back on the road.
I will be sending it to DK engineering.
Sounds to me you need to take the rs on a long road trip :nogarors4:
Golf clap on the seats.

Hope you get on with the F1 box! I was seriously considering a Masser Gransport before getting the 'safer' RS4 and that uses an F1 box. If I remember rightly it uses the same hydraulic pump as a Alfa Selespeed so would cost about £200 from Alfa as apposed to £800 from Ferrari...

This thread gets my vote as the most inspirational thread on this forum - by a country mile.

Top marks to you for your photos and obvious attention to detail.

Not to mention your willingness to share your knowledge on how to achieve a gem such as this.

The OCD side of me would have to have the quilted effect on the back seat as well - but that's just me....sorry.

Awesome.

That's a £6.5k option including bucket seats on a new B8 RS4 - not to mention the carbon weave treatment on top.

Thanks very much FBF, glad my efforts are appreciated. I must admit, these seats are the most labour intensive mod I have ever done on a car and it’s a huge weight off my mind now they're done. I did wonder on a few occasions why I always end up torturing myself with these insane projects just to have a car that’s a bit different but it's always worth it when the jobs done. I didn't realise this is a £6.5k option on the current RS4, I take it that’s the rear seats as well? Can this be viewed on the configurator? I wonder what companies charge for carbon back seats? This could turn into a £10k option no probs!!

I know what you mean about the rear seats, it wouldn't be too much hassle to have them done but they are a completely different design but I’m not sure if they would look a little contrived. Anyway as long as the weather's ok this evening I should be fitting them back in the car so will get a better idea then.
