Some information, but may not answer all your concerns.

It's a public toll road, German traffic laws apply Iincluding speeding!!!).

If you have an accident - you have to pay for the armco to be fixed + potentially any downtime the @Ring suffers.

If you drop oil, and a car behind you spins without you having warned oncoming traffic - it's down to you.

I mention all that because most UK car insurance provides insurance for normal public road driving, but try to exclude the 'ring - but check your own. You are not "racing", just taking in the scenary.

I know of some UK companies that have paid for the insured's damage, but not that caused to other parties on the 'Ring and for the armco.

It's a minefield, but these are supposed to be the experts. No affilitiation etc.

OK, here is the menu for the Nuvolari Restaurant at Neckasulm; can people going advise me if they have any special dietary needs except for Garlic Bread on HP sauce?

Otherwise tell me if you are happy with what is being proposed / cost.

Ta.

Two-course menu

Starter

Either
Orangen-Karottensuppe mit geröstetem Sesam
Carrot and orange soup with roasted sesame seeds

or
Spargelcremesuppe mit Mandelsahne
Cream of asparagus soup with almond cream

Main course

Either
Schwäbischer Zwiebelrostbraten vom Weiderind an Lembergersoße, dazu Gemüse vom Markt und Kartoffelgratin
Local Swabian free-range beef, roasted with onions in a Lemberger (local German red wine) sauce, with fresh vegetables and potatoes au gratin

or
Medaillon vom Jungschwein mit Pfifferlingen im Speckmantel auf Kartoffel-Lauchragout und zweierlei Soßen
Medallion of young pork wrapped in bacon with chanterelle mushrooms on a ragout of potatoes and leeks with a duet of sauces

or
Maispoulardenbrust mit Morchelfüllung auf Kartoffel-Lauchragout, dazu Thymianjus
Breast of corn-fed chicken stuffed with morel mushrooms on a ragout of potatoes and leeks, with a thyme sauce

A set menu of one of these starters and one of these main courses would cost 21.50 Euros per person for the 2 courses

We can also send you suggestions for adding a dessert course, making the cost of the three-course menu 26.50 Euros per person

Drinks

You can either have drinks charged on consumption, or alternatively we can offer you one of two drinks package prices, as follows:

One soft drink or mineral water, with coffee afterwards, at 4.90 Euros per person

Or one soft drink/mineral water, one glass of beer or wine, with coffee afterwards, at 8.50 Euros per person

Ta sims,

Just to clarify apart from special dietary needs we have to select one starter and one main course for all of us. The majority wins on each.

So I'll start

Carrot and orange soup with roasted sesame seeds P_G
or
Cream of asparagus soup with almond cream

Main course

Either
Local Swabian free-range beef, roasted with onions in a Lemberger (local German red wine) sauce, with fresh vegetables and potatoes au gratin
or
Medallion of young pork wrapped in bacon with chanterelle mushrooms on a ragout of potatoes and leeks with a duet of sauces P_G

or
Breast of corn-fed chicken stuffed with morel mushrooms on a ragout of potatoes and leeks, with a thyme sauce
