Yes the valves were cleaned again.

As far as I'm aware there are no mods to the crankcase breather system.

First two were nailing it at 2800rpm the next at 2000rpm all measured from 3k to 8k in third.

The mrs  I will get her out tomorrow and do some more runs, car has had a new inlet manifold about 10k ago not sure if that would make a difference?

Car was missing its 'kick' at 5500rpm last year and only made 330 on a dyno, turned out to be a leak in the vacuum. have not had it on a dyno since as I am happy with it.

Ok, just had a look at this.

I remain unconvinced about the accuracy, the completeness, the relevance of this.

But then I am not so easily convinced, or I don't understand?

What I do seem to notice, is that some of the cars producing "bogus" numbers on those cr@p RRs that ArthurPE has been pissing on for the last few weeks do in fact run faster times than cars that were uncleaned and unmodded. Funny or what?

Someone do us a favour and run some of the individual car data through http://www.cartestsoftware.com/index.php

I used to muck around with this software when it was free back in the 90's...

You can alter almost everything you could possibly want to along with sensitivity analyses etc etc

Why? because I have a "vested interest"?

Because it has been covered so many times before; it's an inaccurate measurement of car power output and only good as a baseline and comparsion for modifications on a car by car basis.

P_G, there is no "that one again".. you should know that Arthur keeps banging on about this all the time as the holy grail.

Some are upfront and declare their interest, others do not. I am a layman with a long term interest in the B7 RS4.

The car is still relatively young and yet there has beeen so much "smoke" about this car, and far more than probably all the other Audis put together. So I very much welcome credible information on this subject.

Correct

Not even that, unless the circumstances are exactly the same
