13.3/104 is pretty good actually...
the average I've seen for sedans, by professional testers, under controlled conditions is ~13/108 (avg of 3 tests)
so for your car being heavier, not on a prep'ed strip, etc., Id say you did damn well...
what were the weather conditions?
humidity
temp
atm press
altitude? at sea level?
Dyno Bullshit!!
Guys/Gals,
Whatever the numbers I just can't understand why owners are not writing to Audi about the fact that every single B7 RS4 that has been opened up, regardless of driving style, oil in service, CEL's, mis-fires etc etc shows "excessive" deposition in the inlet! The jury is NOT out on this.
Quote the demonstrated difference cleaning the inlet makes to performance as measured by MRC and/or AntoRS4 and/or SilverRS4.
Whether cleaning takes you to 380, 414 or 430hp isn't the point! The point is, the engine is slowly gumming itself up!
I have just fired off a 4 page letter to corporate Audi about it saying what I want done about it in my case.
It doesn't make sense IMHO moaning about the DRC and not this problem. Which problem has the potential to be more serious?
We'll see whether they stone-wall me like they did RI_RS4, but the point is, it was only when significant numbers of people started writing about the DRC issue that it got addressed.
The same will surely apply in this case.
What have you got to lose for the sake of another letter?
Unless I'm gagged, I'll be posting the results of my letter if I get a reply.

The opposite point is that every IC engine always has, and probably always will, "gum itself up - and that WILL result in a loss of performance. The only issue as I see it is whether the RS4 does this to a greater extent than other cars? And given that links to owners of other FSI engines shows they have a similar problem then it's not "peculiar" to the RS4. It MAY be an effect of the poor oil separator design on a FSI engine - but if it is then we need ALL FSI owners to get together not just RS4 owners.
DRC affected a large percentage of cars here, but there seems to be a MUCH lower percentage complaining of power loss (ignoring dyno figures which have no real world value as absolute numbers).
I've had my RS4 nearly 3 years doing a mixture of urban, rural and motorway driving for just under 30,000 miles and it still has significantly more performance than my previous S4s had - so I'm not complaining of being down on power.
