Not quick but really good fun in a lightweight kind of way.
+1

I've loved the idea of an A2 ever since I had one as a loan car back in 2003, never been able to find a decent one locally so my daily drive is a (much pimped) Citroen C1.

FON....not a red fan, but think this motor looks sweet, super mods too!

I like the wheels in the pics, think they actually go well with the car.

"...HOV, H to the O-V"

Lovely looking car, tomatoes, but not sure about the seats. The wheels, however, are spot on though like Jules said, could do with an extra inch.

It must kill you to look at those side repeaters. What's the implications of 'smoothing' those over?
No matter where you go, there you are.

Its a bit tricky as they are recessed. You can paint the reflectors to match but it wont be smooth. The only real way to do it is to swap over to the European spec bumper which is in the plans for this winter. As much as I hate the amber it isn't all that intrusive on red as it is on most of the other colors.

I meant when out on the road would the Rozzers notice and pull you for it?

Ah, I miss understood.

Not so much. Some states over here will give you a hard time at your yearly inspection for it, some wont. I've seen people get ticketed for it but only as a secondary offense meaning they were pulled for something else and the copper wanted to play ticky tack and add things on.

I wouldn't be worried about it personally. I don't drive this car every day either.
